Corporate Support Vital

Family Promise of Irving is always grateful to the companies here in town and in the surrounding area that take the effort and show the compassion to support our families experiencing homelessness.

Special thanks this spring to those who assisted at the volunteer appreciation dinner. Red Lobster on Beltline Road donated cheddar biscuits, Aldi’s grocery store on Beltline donated the pineapples that graced each table to set the Hawaiian theme, and Dickey’s on Beltline Road catered the meal.

If you would like to support our efforts, we have sponsorship available for our Steps & Strides and Night of Promise events, or we can meet with you to determine how your organization could have the best impact on our families and on your group. Please call 972-313-1500 or email info@familypromiseirving.org and say “I want to help!”

Thanks and Mahalo!

Night of Promise a Success!

Thanks to all of you, the 2014 Family Promise of Irving Night of Promise was a fantastic event for fun and fund-raising. More than 200 community members enjoyed boot-scooting, out-bidding each other on the 12o silent auction items, and dining on delightful fare of which ranch hands only dream.

All was in support of lifting up others in the community experiencing homelessness. Night of Promise held poignant moments, as the Irving City Council declared Ann Park Day in honor of our committed founder and as two former guests of Family Promise of Irving shared their gratitude and appreciation for this life-changing program.

Organizers announced today the Night of Promise tripled last year’s proceeds, ensuring the longevity of Family Promise of Irving as it continues to make an impact on those struggling not just in Irving but in the surrounding area.

Mark the date of Feb. 21, 2015 for the next installment of a Night of Promise. Until then, we welcome the support of your monetary gifts, your time and your prayers.

Project Give Initiative

We would like to extend a HUGE “THANK YOU” to this year’s sponsors for the  Family Promise of Irving “Project Give Initiative.”

Each of these donors  contributed gift cards, winter clothing, Christmas gifts, gas cards and much more to our families. Through their donations we have been able to continue to provide support for families currently in our program and our aftercare services.
